Technology and kids

Technogy is essential today. However, the impact on technology in children upbringing can be very challenging. During my childhood, my parents were only concern about me spending too much time before TV, hence neglecting my studies. However, today, such concern almost does not exist! J and B are not so interested in TV programs, but they are addicted to playing games in internet, chatting through google chat and 'googling' information from search engines! This evening, we must have a serious chat with J who has been sulking for few days because we did not allow her to access her 'horse game' last Friday. To show her unhappiness, she spend hours in her little hut upstairs, or outside. She was showing black face when she was indoor, and bad tone when talking to relatives back home! Finally, we decided to have the talk with her, arrange some clearer rules of her usage and play time using internet, etc. It was a tough situation, but we hope now we can move forward with clearer understanding.
