Good lectures from a visting professor from Germany

After some weeks of arrangement, our visiting professor finally arrived. Her topic of lectures was managing talent in small-medium size company in a challenging region. The topic is very interesting, more importantly, good to know her region in Germany is facing similar problems like Kainuu. Residences are migrating out to other federal states in Germany, population is aging, small medium size companies are not attracting young talents and their mindset is not geared towards a hollistic view of people management. Such issues are not unknown for SMEs in Kainuu too. Anyway, we had two good sessions, and we hope to cooperate further in the future.
