物以稀为贵 Bamboo shoots

I never appreciate this delicacy when I was living in Asia. However, couple of days back a friend gave me few pieces to cook. They are imported dry from China, and must be soaked in cold water for 30days before they could be eaten.

I decided to do something simple... just friend with some onions, small amount of pork, and egg. Wow, after not tasting for years, it tasted soooooooooooooooo YUMMY! Love it!
